I wasn’t happy with Drupal, so I’m going in another direction. If you don’t recognize it, it’s Wordpress. I picked out one of the premade themes for now, but will change it later. For now, it will be just a blog and some other stuff, but it appears I’ll be able to expand it pretty easily.
Why did I leave Drupal? It’s a nice system, very flexible, and pretty easy to use…at least for me. In the past, I was fine with using such systems. These days, I prefer something a little simpler. I think I’ve grown past tinkering, and I don’t really have the demand for high flexibility. All I want is something simple to use, and allows me quick and easy updates and maintanance.
Don’t get me wrong, Drupal is a nice system. I could make a really nice site with it, if I really wanted to. However, I’m not looking to do a lot of building. I think WP will be just fine.
